    Ban Chang Entertainment Area Update

Well, its been about 6 months since I was in Ban Chang and it looks like they were going to expand the Adult Entertainment Area with some new shop houses...I'm wondering if thats done yet? Also need an update on the best bar to find a "superstar" I know its Ban Chang so the pickings are pretty slim...

I live there, so I go "over the hill" to Pattaya for any extra-curricular leg-over activity.
That said, there a few new bars, but the shop houses opposite the Strip have not been opened as bars yet. The beer bars between the Camel and Offshore (either end of the strip) seem to change hands (and girls) like musical chairs... The bars in between (that don't offer food) that seem to do ok are the "Beaver", and "Wherehouse" bars, plus the "Moonshine" also. Mainly because they are run by foreigners, and have decent music, etc.
As for finding any "superstars", its usually just pot luck, mate. Down to the amount of drinks, fees, or yaba intake of the lass in question. Have a good one.

It's a small area, you won't get lost poking your head around in the various establishments. Well, maybe.

I noticed (by peeking thru the front doors of course), that some places have started to feature pole dancers. Tragically, some of the dancers couldn't afford clothes.

Good grub at the Offshore. The Camel sucks IMO.

I quite like the camel restaurant, although most times I have eaten there there has been an ant or 2 on my plate, find that a bit off putting as I tend to wonder how many may actually be in or under the food

McAllisters had the best food down there for years, but - the last time I was in there, it had gone rapidly downhill after Don had passed on..... Any one been there lately?

Currently under massive refurbishment. (They've gutted the whole place). You're right about McAllister's though. I think since the sad demise of Don Mac, the owners' failed to install someone who had the time / ability to run the place properly.
Anyway, will be interesting to see how the new place looks / operates upon completion.
