Lots of Indian resturants in Pattaya these days.. trouble is I think most of the cooks should go back to being tailors .. For food that is very similar to the North Indian style available in the UK try 'Ahaar'. Located at the 2nd road end of Soi Post Office.. Very good.. So good that Indians actually eat there.... and better still it isn't super over priced like 'Indian by nature' or overly salty like 'the Taj' or just plain shite like ''Ali Baba's''

I've just done your mate a favour DD.

Mrs. Boozer and I went to the Captain's Table this afternoon and stuffed ourselves yet again. Phoned before hand and ordered some dhall, then on arrival settled down to enjoy saffron rice and vegetables, Mrs. B. had a chicken khurma, whilst I had my usual extra spicy chicken with just a single chapati and an onion paratha - absolutely delicious. The ever obliging Mrs. Hussein, is an absolute gem - what a super cook!
We have been home for nearly five hours, and Mrs B. is still complaining that she is full, although being Thai, I am sure that the situation will change long before the evening is through.
For my part, the problem is that I don't think that I have any capacity for my usual evening libation!

Ever tried to get Thais to eat Indian curry?... most of them won't even entertain the thought of tasting it...

In Pattaya, for good flavour curries (but not hot) the Royal Garden food court has a place called 'Acha'... they are also in the 'Door 2 Door' home delivery book... They do a decent tikka masala and the nans aren't bad too..

I had to try this place on Soi Chaiyapoom, but was a bit dissapointed by their attempt at an 'English Indian curry'... sauce was too watery, more like soup and not enough flavour or hot spices in it...

Thats Neeroys, been there a few times, the sauce has always been reasonably thick each time I have been, although it seems regardless of what curry you order the sauce is actually the same, value for money it is pretty good if you just want something to eat, if you wanted a feast with a few different currys then probably best to give this place a miss

Back in desperado days had a few curries there hoping to luck in, but all tastes very much same-same with different names. Even gave Crazy Dave's curry a spin, but don't take that as a recommendation either.
