Does anyone know of any breeders of Rottweillers in the Pattaya to Rayong area? Any guide on prices for pups?
Thanks

One out by Ban Phe, I started a thread on it somewhere on here, try searching "rottwiellers" or as you have spelt it, no idea which is correct so try both spellings.
Here you go I found the link

'Rottweilers' is the correct spelling.
I am not saying that you don't have this: But I hope you have experience with dogs that can be dangerous, and that you take personality into account with the breeder you buy from. You cannot just trust what the breeder tells you. A good way to find a good breeder, is to ask a vet, usually, although I cannot vouch for anything that happens in Thailand.
Personally, I have owned/do own dangerous dog breeds (not Pitbulls, not Chows) but have a decent idea about how to handle them, how to socialize them, I don't have children, and don't have kids who visit my home, and I am very, very careful. I watch everything, including how my dogs act with other pets, mine or pets in the area, although I never let my dogs outside my yard, they do sometimes break out of the gate for 5 minutes max. I am on their ass everytime, every minute, and see what they do.
I am sure if you have experience with dogs like this, you will know why I am writing you and warning you, and won't be offended. If you have no idea why I write this, you should not get a dangerous dog breed. I can suggest many dogs that will be good watch dogs but are not very dangerous or hard to control. Please PM me if you feel like it.
A rottie isn't a dangerous dog unless it's reared to be.
Ilovedogs, do you want to sponser a dog? Or are you a plastic dog-lover?

In Thailand they become dangerous due to lack of rearing, any dog can be dangerous, trouble is if it is a rottie then it becomes a problem because its biting power is about 10 times more powerful than your normal family type dog of similar size.Originally Posted by shehiredahitman
Quite right, my last dog in the U.K. was a Rottweiller English Bull Terrier cross, a very strong and powerful dog. She was exceedingly gentle with children, in the fourteen years that I had her she never once raised a lip to a child, but what an excellent guard dog, never afraid to 'have a go' at anyone who was daft enough to encroach on 'her' territory.
By the way have now purchased a Rottweiller pup, a super little fellow, who even at his tender age, is standing up for himself against our pair of Thai Ridgebacks (Lang Ahn) and our young male Bangkaew. Hopefully, when I can eventually master the technique, I will post one or two pictures.
To the poster who asked if I like real dogs or not, and suggested a place to adopt them ... I currently have 5 dogs and also have 3 other pets who demand a lot of time each day.
But thanks for the website for adoptable dogs.
there's a big rotty around the corner from us, last week it was trying to mount a little poodle ,
Do you suppose that it had professional Taxidermistry training or was it acting like a novice??Originally Posted by phunphin
If anyone lets a rottweiler loose around my soi, I'll kill it. I know it's not the dog but the owner, but still I'm not risking it with young kids. Very irresponsible to keep these dogs off a lead.
Chalky you keep reading the Sun and believing it, a rottie that has been brought up properly will take absolutely no interest in people or children, not even sniffing them, the rottie in my avatar was always taken out generally unleashed, it would just walk round people and children, had no interest in them at all, my bitch rottie is always walked unleashed and never has taken any interest in anybody at all unless somebody stops you to talk to you, that is the only time it ever sniffs somebody when it is outside, rotties are great dogs as long as they are brought up properly and know that you are the boss.
I wouldn't trust her, but the one in your avatar was lovely.Originally Posted by dirtydog
Problem is that they are not all like that, An English guy is our Moo baan has several dogs, he looks after them well, regular excercise and very well fed. One of his Rotties has bitten 4 times and one victim has just got out of hospital after 10 days. Its vicious with strangers. He always walks it on a lead, thank Christ, but it will attack anything.
The guy is a nice guy and a good freind so I am reluctant to say anything to him, but if I didn't know him well I would get it put down someway.
One bad dog doesn't make the breed bad I know.
There can’t be good living where there is not good drinking
So... You're quite prepared to kill an animal on the chance that it might cause harm to children, but aren't prepared to recognise the wisdom/safety in making sure children are properly secured in motor vehicles...Originally Posted by ChalkyDee
How do you reconcile that apparent dichotomy? Because I can't.
I nearly posted the same thing, but if he's that retarded to not care about the lives of his kids in a car on some of the most dangerous roads in the world, then it's a waste of time trying to enlighten him.Originally Posted by AntRobertson
Ahhh, we were discussing about dogs being outside on the street yes in the house I wouldn't trust her with adults males either kids could break into the house and she would just play with them, even inviting adult males into the house they still have to be wary of her.Originally Posted by Marmite the Dog
