    I think there was a 5 met cobra killed "after" it had bitten a woman picking pineappples last year, the workers there did catch and kill the snake(the worker did survive). If a python gets anywhere near this size, it can eat your kids. You did the right thing to get rid of the bugger.

    At least this one looks like it hasn't eaten, unlike a very large, similar looking creature that was struggling to cross a road here in Ban Chang yesterday. Going by the size of it, I would guess that it had probably consumed a small dog. YUK!

    last year we were visiting friends, I happened to glance out the living room window and there laying ontop of the fence just 3 feet from the open window was a beautiful green/brown burmese python..twice as thick as the one above but just as long..after the girls had finished screaming a few locals managed to get a noose around it's neck and drag it into the open.
    I have seen alot of snakes in the wild, but this one was worthy of a spot on
    the telly.
    It is very rear to see snakes this size in the wild...so enjoy while you can.
    The snake escaped back to the swamp next door during the night.
