This one isn't a very good Orange Emigrant speciman as it isn't really yellow or orange enough, maybe the shop stitched me up or the sun has damaged it over the years, or maybe the Thai ones just aren't as good as other countries ones.

Anyway this is another common as muck butterfly that can be found all over Asia, commonly found with the Lemon Emigrant butterfly.

As a caterpillar it is a nice fat juicy green color but don't think Asians eat them.

All those little dots by the butterflies bottom was where something was eating his insides, tiny little white things they were, no idea what they were but they didn't enjoy a day in the Thailand sun, probably well baked by now

Again this picture is well oversized, this actual butterfly is about 6cm in real life.
