You have me by the gonads there Master Looper. I googled "raging homers drinking beer poofed up with honey from a wine glass", and i think you are infact correct in the assumption that they are not drinking manly beer.

(Do you think somtamslap looks ok in a vest?)

Well I think that is all a bit previous Betty.

I say there is nothing wong with a little bit of honey in your beer to soften the palate a little. You can experiment with different honeys to find the one that suits you.

I find Blue Gum Wildflower honey (nectar was gathered from the Blue Gum) does the trick although some Mixed Gum Apple Blossom blend will do at a stretch.

To be fair, Mr Purple Hand (), some beers do taste pretty awful, so changing the ingredients a little might well add something; it does make sense, it's just another natural ingredient, and you have a variety of beers, scrumpies and the such that aren't only hops.. . I haven't tried it, so I don't know. But, it does sound rather gay, especially the wine glass bit...

Does the honey dissolve in the beer?
Or just goo in the bottom?

Put a teaspoon of clear honey (not set honey) in a small cup add 2 teaspoons of water and stir it until it is syrupy water. Then add a teaspoon of that to the glass with the beer already poured and stir.

Not suggesting it is a good idea for all beers but for certain bitter hoppy beers it can soften them up.

Or just drink Thai Heineken. It's way too sweet already.

so Marmite, where is your review on Chang Export

I saw some in a bar the other day but they only sold big ones, so I had a big Singha instead

    Not tried it yet.

I suppose I should do a back-to-back study of the 3 main Changs available, but the mere thought of drinking it sends shivers down my spine.

^ Come to think of it I would sooner drink Siam Sato out of a pair of a pair of old unlaundered Speedos than Chang Export

While searching for a pic, I came across this.........
