No fizzy shit - just ice.

Alternatively, you can save it until the weekend after, as I'll be in Chiang Mai then.

Good whiskey/whiskey is one of the finer things in life; and The Wild Bird is damn good whiskEy! Had a scot living in the bungalow next to mine we'd sit out on the porch, watchin' the sun set behind Viti Levu sippin' single malt for him and a single barrel for me. no ice, no water or soda; just a glass, the sun and a resort full of vacationing scuba bunnies waitin' up the hill... fuckin tough life it was. Hated every minute of it.

I bought a bottle of Johnnie Walker GREEN label the other day.

Not bad , although I reckon a single malt will be my next purchase.

Nice smooth finish and the flavour seems to discover you the more you drink it. (1350B)

I've seen Glenlivet for sale here , maybe try that next time.

Jamesons, yeah that's not a bad whiskey either - seems to be around 1k though.

Still got the Green label to finish first.

it's thumbs down from me now on the Green Label - just tastes too much like Red Label....

good advice Ken May - for an extra 100B you can get a single malt.

Jamesons is 650 in Big C and Carre Four.

Big C is 43% and Carre Four is 40% not sure what that is about.

I think I am going to drink a bottle of that aniseed stuff this weekend and have a wicked hangover for three days.

Have a friend in England that brought a bottle of Famous Grouse and that was nice. He said he'll bring a single malt on the next visit. Another English friend is bringing something with the nickname of "wifebeater", supposed to be some potent stuff but think it's an ale but can't remember now.

yeah, I reckon 'Wifebeater' must be an ale of some sort - not a great fan of kind of beer.

MrsQ- do you mean Ouzo , the Greek stuff - I got drunk on that a few times when I went to Greece , you're right about the hangover!

Ouzo, you are a braver man than me. Stuff tastes just like licorice, and its too wierd the way it makes water go cloudy. Not for me. Aquavit from Scandanavia is about the same as far as I am concerned.

Its a lager, so its pretty tasteless. 5.2% and brewed in Belgium.

My old man used to be given gallons of awavit at christmas time by business associates. I used to nick it and get pissed on it fucking firewater.

Pastis is the stuff I have seen in Big C. Didn't buy it as I need to keep a clear head for a while.
