The Shrine @ my home town (Phichit)

The weekend I went to Phitsanulok, I also visited my parents for 1 day. That day was the day that we (people in the village) had to show respectfulness to our shrine which every villages around there must have one.

Ours is called "San Chao Por Poo Dam" . Every houses in the village must bring food to worship.

Then everyone burnt candles and joss sticks.

After that the leader led everyone to say things like, asking him (the shrime) to protect our village and etc.

After that we assumed that the leader is a guy in the shrime and we gave him our food.

Then he said thanks and gave the food back for everyone to eat together for the harmony.

Nope, not at all. It's about us who believe about the one who always protects us.
