hideaway Beaches in Thailand
The problem I see is that publishing the location of said hideaway means it ceases to be a hideaway.
Quite.
Imagine arriving somewhere and finding Chico pushing his culinary skills to the max by warming up baked beans for his kids.

Yep. We love it there. When the troubles are over, we're going to take the bike down and stay for a couple of weeks and I won't give a hoot in hell if it rains all day, every single day.Originally Posted by Dillinger

^^ good idea, tops.
All the best with it.
Give Satun and Nakhon Si Thammarat Provinces a go....

yes
Stay the fuck away from Khanom. You would hate it anyway.
I doubt you could afford it...Originally Posted by Chico
Been there, not for some time but my brother went more recently and it sounded like it hadn't changed much.Originally Posted by Chico
Tarutao is sort of like going to a summer camp. There is a canteen or two to eat at, and all the rooms/cabins are park owned. There are deserted beaches there that you can camp on (a few of the smaller ones have cabins as well, not sure if they are open year round). Good hiking and bicycling (no motorbikes or cars are allowed on the island, which makes the place pretty damn awesome and peaceful)
Overall, its a nice island and a fun time. I would go there again, and would certainly visit Taratao over Lipe.
Theres thousands of empty beaches out there when its not high season;
The Thais are hardly a nation of fukkin sun worshippers
