We arrived at Bum Bum Airport around 2.00 PM. I was very happy to unload the Mitsubishi Marage that I had dinged up, fortunately for me the dosy Miss Somchai did not notice this. Gota love Thailand Eh. Anyway that was our little 9 day road trip. I hope you enjoyed it. We had a blast on this trip, it was fooking brilliant. Cheers.

Just a word on my picture threads, I treat TeakDoor as my Photo album, I can show my friends at home.

They're for me in the first instance and if other people enjoy seeing my pictures that's good.

When this forum goes Tits up they will all be gone, no probs there at all, i always have copies.

When one embarks on a road trip in Thailand Katie there is never a lack of stories at the end of it.

I rung 4 Picture threads out of one 9 day trip.

    I rest my case.

Great stuff Terry I must take more scenic type photos on my trips.

Next time down that way stay on the beach roads north of Cha-am rather than race track 4. Some good stuff along there best of the lot the King Project at Leam Pak Bia.

Great stuff Teary, I love the area south of Hua Hin down to Ban Krut. And to think of idiots retiring in Pattaya.

What can I say Terry you really do make entertaining threads. I love the lingo, you do have a way with words. Some I haven't heard used the way you use them and some I've only heard you use. I love it though because I think I know exactly what you're saying. Well except that prawn act a sundown. In a way I think I'm glad you didn't take pics of that. As long as your darlink is happy that's all that matters.

I started reading this thread on my lunch break and like a good book I just couldn't put it down. Thanks for making my afternoon fly by. Makes me want to cash in check out and head over.

Good on ya mate and keep trucking on......

Terry, I've only been that way once and we went with a bunch of Thais and stayed south of Hua Hin.

Can't remember the name of the place we stayed, but it wasn't far from this place ...

    Did you drive through there?

Pak Nam Pran, Pran Buri District.

It seemed to have suited your style, few/no westerners, uncrowded beaches etc.

I used to show friends your and others travel threads when they asked me about possible places worth a visit in Asia but had to stop when the whore adds arrived. Shame really, been discussed before I know. However I enjoy your threads and appreciate the time you spend on them.

All good Terry it was this bit I didn't get after you said you gave the handbag a proper bollocking for putting her feet on the seat.

"Goodonya and fair dinkum, no fahckin' raw prawns here!"

I don't think I really want to know, way over my head there.

I went back to post 17 for proof reading, turns out some other fellow said that in response to your bullocking the handbag over feet on the seat. Cheers and have a loa dark for me. Peace out....the fish.

Not sure. But I ended up entering Hua-Hin on the back road on the South side.

I had turned off HWY 4 way before Hua-Hin, idea being as per usual to see what's down there and enter Hua Hin Via a back road. Turns out this back road swings back onto HWY 4 just south of the town.

We ended up on this beautiful drive following the coast and went straight through Khao Sam Roi National Park.

I'd left my Map at home so was relying on what I could pull from my GPS. Was not quite sure where I was.

You can travel through this Park without incurring Fees, it's a stunning drive with brilliant views up onto the mountains.

Reminded me very much of the North of Thailand.

    Try that.

" Add blocker " Mate. All too easy.

This shit house needs to get a few buks flowing through the door and if the owner wants to market this forum as a site for nasty " Sex Tourists " then so be it.

But hey don't sweat it, one day you will log on but nothing will happen.

This forum can't go on forever and will just disappear one day. It's only a matter of when and not if.

No probs Huh. Enjoy the ride whilst you can.

Add Blocker is ok but if you send someone a link it dosen't look good if you have to add a PS ' dont forget to use add blocker before you show the lovely place to the wife and kids'.

Who are you showing Terrys threads to?

Surely theyd only be flashpackers at best

My missus walked in on me the other night whilst i was on Teakdoor looking at Terrys jail Jeff thread.

I just about in the nick of time managed to find a bestiality site and to get my dick out and start jerking off before she caught me

555 A bit like Mark Twain telling his parents he was a piano player in a brothel, because he was ashamed to admit he was a journalist.

and there we were, thinking you were terence of the mekong, the intrepid explorer, going where no man etc., hacking a path through jungles, fighting wild animals and recalcitrant natives, searching out those elusive "locals" with their steaming curries and nubile daughters.

but no, in truth you are just another tourist, a lonely planeteer, taking instructions, following the herd, on the cheap, wingman at your side, doing it falang style.

your travel threads will never seem the same again, your credibility is right down the shitter. you have become a falang.

see you on that tuk tuk to the tailors shop.

Really good thread tez- and a journey to match. Especially nice to see some of untouristed Samui- don't reckon I could go back to Lamai or Chaweng, except for a night out. My first & last visit was in 1984, spent most of it staying at the Magic Mushroom bungalows in Lamai (Chaweng was already getting a bit 'touristy', even then). Their 'Special Omelette' made an ideal brekkie.

Sounds like a plan for a future roadtrip- visit some friends in Prachuap, then down to Samui via the car ferry, then revisit Pak Nam Pran on the way back. Cheers.

Yes once again another Terry 57 classic thread.

By the way Sabang good to see you got home safely.

Touch and go there for a while in Nedwalk's bar but a happy ending with an awesome hangover I expect.

By the way you didn't make it down to my place once again to try the pies.

I kinda guessed that was going to happen. Next time mate.
