Bo Sang Umbrella and Handicraft Festival to be held in January

The Bo Sang Umbrella and Handicraft Festival, held on the 3rd Friday of January every year, is scheduled to run from the 15th to the 19th of January in 2010. Tonpao Municipality, together with the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) and other governmental groups, have organized the event, this the 27th year, to highlight San Kamphaeng’s unique, locally made handicrafts. The famous Bo Sang umbrellas will be featured but also wood carvings, silver ware, mulberry paper and textiles. For more information please call Ton Pao Municipality at 053-338048-9 ext.130.
