The Pattaya Floating market has been a huge success since it opened in November 2008 under the ownership of Khun Manat who is backed up by a management team who has ensured that thousands of tourists have enjoyed the attraction since it opened.

Over the weekend, Khun Manat organized a meeting at the Poongan Restaurant located at the back of the Market.

He began by addressing a number of concerns from vendors including an issue regarding the water quality which Khun Manat confirmed is checked on a daily basis and is also checked by government officials.

However, the main purpose of the meeting was to discuss plans for events relating to the Songkran Festival.

Khun Manat confirmed that many activities will take place, many of which will relate to Thai Culture including traditional Muay Thalay Boxing which takes place on a wooden structure over the water.
