Racers warm up prior to the annual boat racing contest in the northern province of Nan on Saturday. This year, 131 boats join the race including two boats aged nearly 200 years old.

We have a similar, but smaller, spectacle here at Rangsit on Klong 1, starting at Saphan Daeng. Roughly a dozen boats. Makes for a very colourful and interesting spectacle.
