    House/apartment wanted for Ubon Ratchatani

My small family and I require a house or apartment quite urgently in ubon.

2 bedrooms is a min but would prefer 3 or 4.

Furnished, swimming pool etc would be awesome but not essential.

House with a yard would be perfect but an apartment would be okay (although I believe these might not exist.)
News is what someone, somewhere is trying to suppress - everything else is just advertising.

You know the answer to this one.

Pound the pavements & get the jungle telegraph fired up. You can't find decent places outside of Bangkok sitting on your arse in front of a computer.

Of course I know the answer to this one Marmite but as I am in Laos for 3 weeks I thought it might be worth a shot.

I wish it was that easy but as we currently live 2.5 hours drive away and with two young kids it isn't that easy but thanks for the encouragement.

BTW why does it say 'banned' under my name?

^ You've actually been "banned from Thailand" but we weren't going to tell you until you touched down at the airport on your return... damm the cats out of the bag!

    Hi highlander,

Is it strictly for sale or would you be interested in renting it?

    Hi highlander,

Thanks for making contact. Glad to check out your house this morning and it is a fine house but not what m family and I are looking for.

Hopefully someone else might have some suggestions.

    Cheers

    MM

Well the last two days a friend of mine and I have spent about 6-7 hours per day driving the streets of ubon. While I am now an expert on the lay out of this place I am still no closer to finding a place.
A few leads have come up but they have been for places 5,000 baht or under that have no air con and in a condition that I wouldn't want my family to experience. (This does not include Highlanders house which was very nice)

I thought there was a rental agency run by a farang in Ubon. Have you asked around? They might even handle all of Isaan.

I have asked till I am blue in the face but no one seems to know anything. Thanks for the suggestion though HBerghoff.

I did get a solid lead today and looks promising so fingers crossed.

The solid lead was indeed solid and today we reached an agreement on a 4 bedroom house in a great location.

Move in by the end of the week! Thank goodness.
