Yes I have. Worked on a BP tanker that transported petrol, jet fuel and diesel to NZ from Brisbane.
Lots of ports and I can't remember all of them. We only spent a few hours in some of them.
Dunedin, New Plymouth, Mount Manganui, Wellington.
Nice country. I imagine it might get slightly boring after a while though.
Hmm, can't remember, actually that could have been the place I flew to. It was quite a while ago. I got sent to Wellington to renew my passport and had to rejoin the ship. Still, a lovely place (country) to visit, glad I had the chance to do it.Originally Posted by MeMock
The ship I was on was originally a sister ship of the one scuttled in (I think?) Dunedin Bay?
Edit: Wiki has quite a nice article about the boat:

I was working on board at the launch in '93. Happy days with farked up Greek fitters. The Exec Chef had the kitchen artist make a big middle finger ice carving and stuck it on the bow as we sailed out of port

This time.
The only negative things I have ever heard about NZ were from NZ'ers themselves.
And that was mostly complaining about the Maoris not being able to hold their liquor and all the signs having to be in Maori language as well as English. Etc.
Other than that, apparently it's the best place on Earth.
