    Riding lessons

    Sawatdee krup/Greetings.........
I have been here in Jomtien for just over a year now,I arrived on Xmas eve 2008 intending to settle here and buy a car.
Well, after all this time I can see that buying a car would not be the best move to make so I'm about to purchase a motorbike.
My only problem is that I haven't been on a mo'bike for about 50 years
and I'm feeling just a little bit nervous about the prospect.
So.....does anyone know of a,'learn to ride'school/establishment in
    the Pattaya/Jomtien area ?
I think I just need to get my 'balance' back.
    Thanks for reading and
A Happy and Prosperous New Year
    to Y'all.

If you haven't been on a motorbike in 50 years, Thailand is not the place for you to get back on one. In the year you've been here, what have you noticed about their driving habits? You're much safer in a car.

There is a Yamaha Riding Academy in Sumut Prakan. A bit far from Pattaya but a good school. They also support getting a Thai MC drivers license.

    Link in Thai.

You have to have medical ins on any motorcycle here,, thats the law.
But I think if I lived in Pattaaya I woukld just take lessons in riding bar girls as mototaxis are never far away and BG's would be a hell of a lot more fun and a lot safer to fall off of.
