Hear hear. These flooding threads should be kept clear of this political crap and just used for flood updates. There is already a thread that the self confessed "nugget ferret" can use to post his drivel.Originally Posted by aging one

Nope.
Sorry ao
That is my signature, containing undisputed facts.
This way no-one can be confused about where I stand.
I support the Red Shirt Democracy Movement, even though no-one gives a shit about what us Farangs think about Thai politics.
I observe and give moral support to those Red Shirt activists around here in their focus on preventing the theft of their Govt. and threats to their Prime Minister.
I provide this Board with a window into their world. The world of the electorally proven, most significant political movement in the country. Ya don't get that in the only media most Farangs can read. From many PM I have received, many recognize and appreciate.
I try to highlight the orchestrated media attack on them, and give readers here, an alternative consideration to media efforts to propagandize them.
Its not complicated.

I'd rather Poo lied about the flooding than Abhisit lying about no Rhoyangia being pushed out to sea sans food and water .

Another way is just to put some people on "ignore'
I have a couple people on "ignore' and it works wonders.
That way I avoid them annoying me.
For those who don't want exposure to Red Shirt Democracy Movement information and opinionating, the best way would be to put me on 'ignore'
That also avoids me "throwing pearls before the swine"
Not complicated.

I notice he has injected himself into this conversation several times, but I don't have a clue what he said.
I just assume that with respect to Calgary, it was complimentary.

Very comfortable.
And I thank the Journalists who I quote.
But ao, mm says you are not supposed to be here!
His vocabulary wasn't very professional, but that is what he meant.
I don't envy vocabulary-challenged people.

[quote=Calgary;1914390]Agree 100%. I would imagine that the "fair & balanced" Bangkok Post is hoping that this current government, which by the way was democratically elected not only once but three times, will fail with regard to the flooding. I see that there are also a few on this forum who can only offer derogatory comments about the flooding instead of offering support. If they despise Thailand so much why in the hell do they live there?Originally Posted by aging one

The sig of Calgary clearly states the facts - below. Surely you want to nuke as in religious war, Singapore and Australia. Now these countries might have different agenda. Fuck off to towelhead country, you lame prick.
The red shirts began developing a few months after the September 2006 coup d’etat that ousted Thaksin Shinawatra, and have since grown into a wide, deep and well-organised movement (Nirmal Ghosh, The Straits Times Blogs)
Thaksin’s success especially infuriates (redacted) and army factions that have worked tirelessly to spoil his reputation and eradicate any chance of his return to power. Their dismay reflects expensive and remarkable failure.

^ could you try again in english, this time. is Calgary contagious?
