DIT launches project to encourage "Thainess" in youth
BANGKOK, 23 September 2010 (NNT) — The Department of Internal Trade (DIT) will organize a project to reinforce values and awareness of Thai culture and way of life among youths.
DIT official Wutkrai Musikchart said that the project, called “Promoting Thai Youth with Thai Heart,” would reinforce the values of self-sufficiency economy; it will also urge youths to support local Thai food, culture, and tourism in a bid to strengthen the Thai economy and culture. The values of hard work, self-sufficiency way of life, and patriotism will be prioritized in the project.
Applications will be accepted until the end of this month through www. Thaiteenidol.com. Youngsters between the ages of 15-20 years who are selected will be made a spokesperson for the DIT. For more information please call 081 – 1846333.

So, they are going to choose a yaba taking, gun toting, sexually active, tattooed youth? As that seems to be the thing the youths are into nowadays...
I just bet the winner has white skin....

I'm sure the Heads of DIT and their families are supreme role models when it comes to practising hard work and self sufficiency.
