ive just watched this on thai tv news, a german man, looking to to be in his early thirties slit his throat with a knife after a long standoff in the khao san road area, he was rushed and handcuffed and taken away with blood pouring from the wound, he needed 20 stitches to close the wound.

he said he wanted to take his life after being dumped by his thai wife.

he looked determined and gave his throat a powerful slash with the knife, lots of onlookers and cameramen around.

probably be repeated on the evening news for any gorehounds wanting to see it.
