Iranian Tourist Falls Victim to Pickpockets

After an audacious failed robbery incident which took place on the morning of the 3rd December, two ladyboys Uten Jariya and Sutad Kreepjumpa, both aged 31,

found themselves at Pattaya Police Station to be charged with theft. The incident occurred at the traffic lights at the junction of Second Road and South Pattaya Road when Iranian tourist, Mr. Abadi was waiting on his bike at the lights, the two culprits came alongside and started their silly antics and sexual overtones by embracing the man. No fool, Mr. Abadi realised that one of them had taken his wallet, so gave chase as the two quickly fled the scene and shouted for help from the nearby traffic police. At the station, 2,000 baht and other currencies were found hidden in one of the men’s padded brassieres.
