Thread: Pattaya Soi Bongkot - English man drugged and robbed

English Man drugged and apparently robbed at Central Pattaya Motel.

On Wednesday Afternoon, Police were called to the Bird Inn Motel located in Soi Bongkot, Central Pattaya, following reports of a Foreign Man who had apparently been drugged and robbed. Police arrived and made their way to room number 138 where they found a 55 year old English Resident of Pattaya who was unable to give his name because of his drowsy state. Staff at the Motel were alerted when the man failed to check out of the short stay Motel at the agreed time, despite a female companion leaving the room some time before. Inside the room was two bottles of water and a cup of coffee which were taken away for analysis. The English Man was taken to Hospital as a precaution. CCTV images were taken from the Motel showing the man’s female companion entering the room with him and then leaving alone. Police were unable to determine if anything had been stolen from the victim and further investigations will take place when he is fit to speak with Police.
