some don't even get to court and don't forget the appeal system here can drag on for years
Has anyone here been bullied up by a group of thugs and over a long period.
It is just not the physical abuse but the mental anguish and the loss of face in front of the lads peers. Bet there was a lot of other kids that poked fun and him as well. Must of been a nightmare for the 15 year old.
Then again to carry a knife to school is totally wrong and the inevitable happened.
IMO there should be a school administrative enquiry and whether the lad had made a complaint to the teachers and nothing was done.
What about the shootings in the US?
One can never be too cynical about Thai 'justice'.Originally Posted by Redneck

What exactly do they mean by utility knife, I wonder? I've seen a lot of students carrying around retractable-blade "utility knives," basically nothing more than a razor blade in a little plastic case. Useful for doing pointless but time-consuming crafts projects. It if was one of those, carrying it at school wouldn't be that much more out of the ordinary than carrying a pencil sharpener. Granted, I have also heard or students threatening each other with them, have seen students vandalizing things with them, and FFS, they are pretty deadly.
No. Never. In my neighborhood you had to take bullies out or you were dead meat. They were like packs of wild dogs on the hunt for weaklings. It was do or die. If you ran from a fight or backed down, your life was over. You were never safe again.
The one thing that my dad did was give me a beating if someone beat me up. He made it perfectly clear that I was not to take crap from anyone. I got beat up one time and when I got home my old man beat me with in an inch of my life. The next day I hunted the guy down that beat me up and I took it out on him. Anytime after that when I got in a fight, I always knew if I did not win, I would pay for it at home. So I made sure I always won. I never went looking for trouble, but if trouble found its way to me, I made sure to end it my way not the other guys.
^ it would seem that is what happened
Pretty much the same in the neighbourhood where I grew up.
But I do remember some kids that were spat on, physically and mentally abused regularly especially the smaller and more vulnerable kids.
My dad threw me a Rugby ball and a cricket bat and immediately the day I could walk. Being a reasonable sportsman at school normally redirects the attention of bully's and standover gangs.
From what I have read in your previous posts I believe your stature ensures that you can handle yourself pretty well mate. Big cnut aren't ya![]()
I've shared several of my personal experiences already not to mention the almost daily travesties of justice one reads about and hears about in the local media. Not to mention the system itself is wholly corrupt from the top to the bottom.Originally Posted by good2bhappy
