A late-night confrontation between a foreign man’s ex-wife and current partner at a Pattaya bar ended with both women hospitalized after a bottle attack escalated into chaos.
At 1:06 a.m. on April 23rd, the Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Rescue Center in Pattaya received a report of a violent altercation that left two individuals injured. The incident occurred at a beer bar in the Jomtien area of Pattaya. Upon receiving the report, the rescue center coordinated with officers from Pattaya Police Station and rushed to the scene with rescue volunteers.
At the scene, rescuers found Ms. Yu (alias), 40, the ex-wife, and Ms. Pa (alias), 43, the current wife, both suffering from head and nose injuries, with blood covering their faces. Rescue workers provided initial first aid while concerned bystanders stepped in to prevent the situation from escalating further. Both women were then urgently transported to a nearby hospital. Broken alcohol bottles were also found scattered on the ground.
Ms. Pa, the current wife, told authorities that she had seen her foreign husband drinking with his ex-wife. She approached them to greet them, but the ex-wife allegedly grabbed a bottle and struck her on the head before fleeing the bar about 50 meters away. Ms. Pa said she followed them in an attempt to retaliate, which led to a chaotic scene until bystanders intervened and contacted authorities.
Rescue workers transported both women to a nearby hospital and advised that if they wish to pursue legal action, they can file a complaint with investigators at Pattaya Police Station. Police said they will review CCTV footage in the area to ensure a fair investigation for all parties involved.
