City Officials Clean Up Abandoned Shipwrecks at Laem Bali Hai Pier

Pattaya City Mayor Mr. Poramase Ngampiches led a team of Pattaya Environmental Office personnel to clean up and remove abandoned and sunken cargo ships near Laem Bali Hai Pier in South Pattaya.

The operation took place yesterday, May 22nd, with an objective to remove abandoned vessels that had been causing an unsightly image for the Pattaya coastline.

Mayor Poramase explained that the city had previously notified the owners of the sunken ships to remove the wrecks, but they did not respond. Consequently, the city took matters into its own hands, deploying environmental officers to remove the debris, including old wood, plastic buoys, and the sunken vessels themselves.

The mayor stressed that the abandoned ships were not only unsightly but also posed legal violations. He further noted that the waste at Laem Bali Hai Pier originated from two sources: some washed ashore during storms, while others were discarded by individuals lacking a sense of civic responsibility.

“I urge those who use the Laem Bali Hai Pier to help maintain its cleanliness. We will also enforce regulations to manage this public space effectively and to protect Pattaya’s tourism image,” Mayor Poramase stated.

Mr. Poramase also noted that Pattaya Beach had recently been ranked among the world’s top 12 most beautiful beaches.

In the future every beach will be in the top 12 for 15 minutes.

Delusional thinking is core to the Thai psyche.

It is why the country is dysfunctional and pretty much a shithole.

Whilst on the topic of dribbling, Thai pipe dreams weaving fantasy out of idiocy, one wonders just how far we’ve got with the recently announced tripe that a new dedicated ocean terminal for the docking of cruise ships is to be built adjacent to the Bali Hai Pier here in Thailand’s Miami…

    Har, har.
