being in possession of thick lips and curly hair without a licence after sunset on an even numbered day would be enough for the thai police to bring charges.

In London, the typical pretext for arresting coons was walking in a bus lane.

    Why always Nigerians?

For instance, you don’t see Kenyans getting arrested on a regular basis.

Essentially, Nigerians are probably the most peripatetic criminally entrepreneurial people on the planet.

They are in every country to some degree and are scamming someone, somewhere.

    Quite gifted really.

And you know they’re telling the truth when you see their heads fall off.

Partially because there’s just more of them. 218million Nigerians versus 54Million Kenyans. Partially racial profiling, I had some Nigerian friends who refuse to even transit let alone visit Thailand, “they target us”. They could book longer and more expensive flights via Singapore and Japan than go through Bangkok.

And, much like Albanians, all the nice guys are at home. Nigeria has many international criminal gangs for them to fall into.

This is definitely true. Big and growing, some projections suggest it could overtake India's population in a few decades' time.

This is also true. Go back a couple of decades and the Met had a West African Fraud Squad, there were a few Ghanaians so they didn't call it Nigerian. The old '419' advanced fee frauds were big then and the Nigerian gangs were all at it. These days a lot are involved in romance scams and it is not widely advertised that Nigerians at some point touch about half of the global trade in illicit drugs.
In the UK, the Nigerian gangs operated in structures similar to terrorist cells, only the team leader knew the identities of his team: usually they included at least one counterfeiter to make up false documents and one or two more whose main role was to keep opening bank accounts in stolen names.
These gangs were extremely powerful, probably they still are. Even decent people trying to make an honest living in UK were easily subjected to pressure, just a few photos of the family back in the Nigerian village and an assurance that they would remain healthy, just so long as ....
Another curiosity in the UK was that it was known that concentrations of Nigerians could be found living in the areas around big government departments, such as the DVLC, where personal data were processed.

^^Saw a "60 minutes Australia" documentary about an Australian woman who was a victim of the Nigerian love scammers. Even though she was faced with all the evidence, she refused to believe that her man was a scammer. Poor dear...

A Nigerian lawyer contacted me via yahoo mail in the early 2000s. Said that I had inherited some shares in a gold mine. I wonder if my gold mine is thriving right now...

As reported to me by the then commander of that squad. Maybe he was misinformed?
