A group of Thai people and another group of Chinese tourists reportedly fought over a woman in front of a nightclub in Pattaya on Tuesday night, March 26th. The battle also involved a dramatic car chase, prompting a response from Pattaya authorities.

According to the local media, the incident took place during nighttime at the front of a nightclub. Two groups of customers, including Thai people and Chinese tourists, were hanging out in the club, where a birthday party of a Thai woman who was a girlfriend of one of the Thai men was being celebrated.


It was understood that the Chinese men began the altercation because one of the Chinese men was also allegedly a “boyfriend” of the Thai man’s girlfriend. The nature of the events leading up to the fight was unclear, but both groups subsequently left the venue and chased each other around in their cars.

The incident prompted a rapid response from Pattaya police who quickly arrived at the scene and stopped the fight. Both groups were taken to the local police station where their statements were documented. However, both parties were eventually released without being charged immediately.


An investigation is continuing and the video has gone viral online.
