I take half an ambien to rest my thoughts and let me fall asleep.
it doesn’t ping me on a drug test and works just fine.
Why the need for Xanax or benzos?
I don’t think I’d trust myself with those.
I’d probably be too scared to take hard meds to sleep in a plane in case I flop on the person next door, can’t wake up at the destination or straight up piss myself.
And anyway, who sleeps through a free bar?
No Scotsman, that's for sure...
Like any of these pills, just take the smallest amount to get the job done. You can take a 0.1mg. 0.2mg or 0.5mg xanax if that works for you (diazis are about ten times larger quantity to have a similar effect, in my experience). They work well for many anti-anxiety, anti-depression and/or insomnia issues - with a Thai wife, most of would have all three of those problems...
Cycling should be banned!!!
I get the ambien over the counter as a price from a pharmacy in Pattaya.
I tried to get it through a doctor down south and he said “no have”.
I asked him what he would prescribe for insomnia. He said only the ‘generic stuff’.
I said “you mean Xanax?”
he said “yes, do you want Xanax?”
I said “fuck no”.
Lang may yer lum reek...
^ If .2 mg of xanax gets you to sleep than it's a job well done; less harm than half a shandy...
They used to call them mothers little helper, when my wife was having mental issues last year I was glad that she was hospitalised and getting the care she needed
She was in hospital a couple of months meaning I had to make bank AND take care of the nippers, I was glad that I had access to the diazepam that I had brought back from.Lao. even though these days my drug of choice is beer. Anyway it was pretty fucked up. But thankfully it's all in the rear view mirror now. Life is good again.
I only started flying/ travelling after 9/11 so I wouldn't know. I did see from old movies (in PH) that well-wishers were allowed up to the departure gates. Now (in PH), you can't enter the airport unless you have a flight - the guards check your ticket upon entry.
*****
To those who flew pre 9/11, esp Americans - were knives allowed in handcarry? As I recall, the 9/11 hijackers carried box cutters. TIA.

If it's good mates, you could be right there
For several reasons it would be a bad idea to down a few pints in order to falling asleep.
Taking a "sleeping pill" might be OK, but if you have to increase doseage over time, then....
I've heard of folks who needed "uppers" to get going in the morning too.
And folks who need a beer in the morning

I imagine the majority of weed shops in Thailand could sort you out with extras off menu.
I suspect Mr. Mullady has some prior form back home. He'll look like he's 70 before he gets out of a Thai prison.
