Thread: American Man Allegedly Sexually Assaults Pregnant Horse in Phuket

An 18-year-old American man allegedly sexually assaulted a pregnant horse in Thalang.


The Thalang Police Department told the Phuket Express that they were notified of the incident from a stable keeper identified only as Mr. Chatchot, 50, from Paklok on Sunday (March 10th) of the incident. He told the police that at 4:00 P.M. that day he gave a routine health check of a 10-year-old female pregnant horse inside the stable in Soi Bang Sai, Paklok.

The condition of the horse alarmed the stable keeper who immediately recognised that the horse had suffered apparent sexual abuse based on her condition and stress levels. He checked CCTV footage in the stable and discovered to his shock a foreign man found in the stables. The man is seen on CCTV appearing to sexually abuse the horse with his hand. The footage of the incident was posted online to various animal watchdog groups where it immediately went viral. The Phuket Express has decided not to share this footage however as it depicts animal sexual abuse and may upset many readers.


The suspect was later identified by police only as Mr. Stephen, 18, an American national. He has been contacted to surrender himself and speak with Phuket police over the shocking incident. It was not immediately apparent if Stephen was an ex-pat or a tourist.

Well this is definitely an odd one. Not sure what to think about it. Gonna need to hear this guys side of the story.

If one has never grown up on a farm, livestock breeders frequently toss on a big glove to make sure the young'en isn't breach and rotate them. Not sure what this kid was doing.

This place is nothing compared to the US. Doorbell, hidden rock, intersection, rooftops, bedrooms, aerial, car, watch, light posts, nanny cams you name it.

The world is one big CCTV nowadays.

Bloody Thai people. Can't even stick your hand up a horse's arse these days without someone moaning about it.

It would be good if he arrived on horseback.

Poor parents. It would be very upsetting to have a son doing this kind of thing.

It will be interesting to see how the Thai courts deal with this. The young man appears to need a bit of psychological help.

After the incident, the father of the foreigner came to talk to the stable owner and asked him to forgive what his son had done and to have his son work in the stable to atone for the crime.
The stable owner refused.

Have the police looked into who else might have had a hand in the crime?

With that video he's definitely the mane suspect.
