We are not in a state of war, yet, and China's bellicose language is not a game. So I expect some courtesy and diplomacy.

The Global Times is in effect a voice of the Communist Party. So far as I can recall they have in recent weeks made disparaging and frankly bullyish remarks about the EU, the UK, and Japan, in addition to Australia and New Zealand, and of course their various neighbours around the South China Sea. It is all unnecessarily offensive. China could choose to achieve global leadership through economic growth and keeping its powder dry, the Deng Xiaoping style.

On second thought...they might feel right at home thinking its just the usual filthy smog.

I suspect many countries have similar media outlets, or is The Global Times an exceptional case?

Read some other similar media outlets, from other countries. You may find similar or stronger. Jaw, Jaw.

China's military has, so far, not used any "powder". Or Illegally invaded, placed trade embargoes, sanctioned, overturned governments, bombed, starved men, women and children, supplied offensive weapons, topped up warring countries with further supplies .... on other countries.

The western countries all consider such actions, "as worth it". War, War

They aren't interesting in leadership. They are interested in plundering.

You meant "interested" right? Please explain if that's not the case.

Asking as maybe it's a way to use this word I'm not familiar with and you were so keen in not understanding me in an other thread.

Xi Jinping calls for more '''loveable''' image for China in bid to make friends - BBC News

Xi Jinping calls for more 'loveable' image for China in bid to make friends.

China's president has said he wants the country to "expand its circle of friends" by revamping its image.

Xi Jinping told senior Communist Party officials it was important to present an image of a "credible, loveable and respectable China", according to a report by state-run news agency Xinhua.

It marks a possible shift in China's diplomatic approach, which analysts say has become increasingly antagonistic.

The comments came amid deteriorating relations with key global powers.

'arrry got a clue, as usually, he never disappoints. But I am quite surprised how he sees the liberation wars...

It certainly looks that way but your millions reference maybe an underestimation. Try 10's of millions.

We're not scared of the Chinese. Even if they do invade they'll only get as far as Sunnyvale.
