Thread: Elderly American pedo given one year

Siem Reap Provincial Court sentenced a 79-year-old American man and his Cambodian accomplice to one year in jail and 18 months in jail respectively for having sex with a 10-year-old boy.


According to child-protection NGO Action Pour Les Enfants, the verdict was delivered on Wednesday. The American was identified as John Paul Zollbrecht and his accomplice was named as Nheb Sophorn, 23.


In February, provincial anti-human trafficking and juvenile protection police arrested the American over suspicions of him sexually abusing the boy while Mr Sophorn, who was allegedly facilitating the relationship, was arrested the same day.


Mr Zollbrecht was known to have travelled to Siem Reap city a couple of times prior to his arrest and began to contact his victim through the community education project he managed in a village located in Sra Nge commune.

Sadly, there must be a rife market place for these victims of dirty old men. Money was no doubt the incentive for his accomplice. The old bastard should be put down, imho.
Lengthy jail-time for the pimp if there's any sort of sensibility in the country. Assholes, both.

You know you get that creepy feeling sometimes that someone is a perv, but you put it aside as your imagination?

Nope, he is a perv.

Disgusting, for certain crimes I am a big supporter of the death penalty; this would be one of them. There is no point in rehabilitating those who cause harm to children- a bullet to the back of the head is the only logical answer as far as I'm concerned.

Far too soft, the Yanks have a much better idea of how to deal with these bastards. An old customer of the Mrs (not a bar girl!) got 22 years last year in the USA for fuking a 14 year old Thai in Thailand and distributing pics of her over the net. But they waited until he landed on US soil in Hawaii before having him arrested, they did not want the Thais nabbing him. He was dobbed in by his ex, not sure how old she was!

I think it painfully obvious to the meanest of intelligent (obviously that excludes several here) that the judge in the case has been bribed by the American in return for the lenient sentence and, more importantly, for not making a deportation order which protects him from US prosecution.. But at least he has been prosecuted which is something, the Cambodian abusers from the moneyed/inflential classes are rarely even arrested.
