Migrant workers can renew work permits at 7-11

The Department of Labor green light to about 3 million migrant workers from Cambodia, Myanmar and Laos to renew work permits over the counter at 7-11 shops nationwide.

The move intends to facilitate employees and employers around the country as the service is available 24 hours and workers can pay after their normal working shift. The counter service fee would be 10 baht and processing time would be about 1 minute if all paperwork is in order.
