Cops saying No One has fled the island and they have no suspects now.

It also says Mon was released straight away, that pappa chief is donating 1000000 baht to the village if any of his family or associates are involved, and that he is suing the press for saying his family is connected to the case.

if we look at travel times from the island to the mainland the police could of stopped anyone travelling from there.

Ferry companies Lomprayah, Seatran, and Songserm serve Ko Tao from:

Surat Thani (4 hours day boat, 9 hours on overnight boat)
Chumphon (1.5–3 hours)
Ko Samui (approximately 2.5 hours)
Ko Pha Ngan (approximately 1 hour).
All ferries dock at Ban Mae Haad. Journey times vary due to the different boats used by the various ferry companies.

How did the victims' photos end up on Facebook? Wife just showed them to me as they were being shared around. Disgraceful behaviour if they were police photos and making them look even worse, if that's at all possible.

the pictures are on the internet - some of them look like the scene of crime photos to be honest and they were posted on 15th September same day as the bodies were found.

This is pretty fresh content, guys. A British couple at a resort in Thailand were brutally murdered on September 15th, 2014 on the beach some ways from beach party they were attending. The man, David William Miller (24), was stabbed and hacked about the head while the woman, identified as Hannah Victoria Witheridge (23), was beaten and raped/sexually assaulted to some degree by the attacker(s) and perhaps also with a garden hoe which was then used to hack apart her face. It looks like they may have been in the middle of some dirty deeds when surprised and attacked. No suspects have been identified as of yet and the resort town is now fearing a decline in tourism. Understandable.

We here at Best Gore have been giving the truth about popular Third World vacation areas for over six years and I can’t help but wonder if either of these two frequented Best Gore, they would have avoided taking this little trip. Thailand is a xenophobic nation that hates everyone who is not them, this has been proven time and again and yet many still flock there because the land itself is beautiful and the women are easy. These were not pedophiles or drug addicts nor were they engaging in anything seedy, they went to an exotic place that the mass media promotes as beautiful and wonderful and like all sheep, they never questioned going into a third world country that is so poor and corrupt that they throw their own children out like garbage. The Thai Police is a business, a crime is all about how much money they can make.

The perp is usually not difficult to identify most crimes are primeval urges or gross stupidity, they are either too stupid (poor) to cover their tracks or to arrogant (rich) to bother.....

If the person is poor and there is no money to be made don't waste time on much investigation, the judge will find him guilty as he has no way to pay. No money to be made, lets move on.

The opposite is when Police Lt Col Somchai's eyes spin like a one armed bandit. A rich perp. Identify him and start the cash wagon rolling.

If he is rich and seriously connected, you make sure there is no evidence, you will be rewarded with long term promotions and the like, no immediate cash gain, but this is a life changing investigation to get in on.

If he is just stinking rich but not got a relative in a position to reward you with promotion you have to play it a little differently. In this case you have to bring him into the investigation, how gently depends upon the game the perp plays.

Example: Red Bull, tried to get the butler to take the blame, young cop accepted but that would mean complete innocence and no need to play so more experienced officers arriving later reject that. Red Bull doesn't want to play.... sit him down and explain a few things. Arrest him and let him know he won't get of that cheaply, but in the end, he will get off that easily.

The rich Thai perp won't mind a wee dent to the reputation so arresting them does little damage, just adds to the tough guy reputation that they so crave. As the payment / promise of cash materialises, investigations start to go haywire, all sorts of poor people get implicated, all sorts of different versions get circulated.....it's a confusion game. This is the game they are playing in Koh Tao, it was the game they played so famously in Chiang Mai.

I suspect these guys in Koh Tao were easy to find, haven't played ball quite as they should and are being screwed for the money..... at the end of the day if they pay, they will go free..... and they will pay.

So to them they have been found guilty to us the punishment would be jail time, to the Thai's it's paying a large fine.... ermmm donation to the Police Benevolent Fund...... after all the jails are for poor people.

Of course if you have upset a powerful patron, that's another game indeed.....

Those photos are horrific, especially of the girl. There was really hatred in these attacks.
