Violent Thai husband Gets Knifed By Abused Wife


A 32-year-old man was seriously injured after being stabbed by his 43-year-old wife during a violent fight. According to the landlord, the couple argued all the time, and the man beat his wife every day.

PATTAYA – March 26, 2013 [PDN]; At 5 a.m., a report of a stabbing was received by Muang Pattaya police officers. They went to the crime scene with rescuers from Sawangboriboon Thammasathan foundation Pattaya.

The incident occurred in a rented room with no number on Soi Chalermphrakiart 13 (soi Bua khao ice industry), central Pattaya, moo 9, Nongprue, Banglamung, Chonburi.

At the scene, in front of an ice-making business, arriving officers found the stabbing victim, Mr. Kriangkrai Singwisut, 32 years old, from Namai, Bandung, Udon Thani.

He had been stabbed in his left rib cage and severely injured, and he was crying in pain. Rescuers gave him first aid. The person who stabbed him was his wife, Mrs. Montian Promprakarn, 43 years old. Her face was swelled and there was a bruise on her mouth.



The rescuer also gave her first aid, and sent them both to Banglamung hospital. Police recovered the knife used in the stabbing, which they kept as evidence.

Officers questioned the owner of the rented rooms, Mr. Chatapat Kraisinnitchanart. He told police that the two were a couple who quarreled all the time, every day. The husband was the one who started the fights, and he would beat his wife every day.

But today, Mr. Chatapat heard the sound of the couple quarreling again. But then he heard the crying noise of Mr. Kriangkrai. So he came out to check, and saw that the man had been stabbed, so he notified police.

After asking and checking the crime scene thoroughly, the police recorded information in the police journal, and will question the couple further to prosecute.

Fair play to her. She's stupid for still being there in the first place though. Will probably do time now, when she she should have been long gone the second the violence started.

It's hard to feel sympathy for abused woman that don't get out at the start.
