Pistol Packing Thai Men Have Deadly Dispute

Three Rayong men apparently had a business dispute that they settled with guns. The shootout left a 34-year-old victim dead at the scene, and another 37-year old victim died at the hospital. They were both shot by a car-care owner who fled the scene.

RAYONG – January 21, 2013 [PDN]; at 9:30 p.m., a report of a shooting at the Eastern Valley village was received by Pol. Lt. Col. Ranthorn Siripholphrom, investigation officer, Pluakdaeng police station, Rayong province. He reported to Pol. Col. Prakart Phongpanich, Superintendent, Pluakdaeng, and went to inspect the scene with a police team and the rescue officers of Pluakdaeng.

The incident occurred at the opposite side of Eastern Valley village Moo 2 Tambon Mabyangporn. At the scene, police found the body of Mr. Vithoon Noondee, age 34, living in Tambon Mabyangporn. He had been shot 8 times in his head and body.

Another seriously injured victim had been shot on his left arm and through his ribs. He was rushed to Pluakdaeng hospital, where he later died. He was identified as Mr. Wattana Toomvijit, age 37, from Tambon Mabyangporn.

The gunman had fled from the scene after the shootings. Police found on the ground 20 bullet shells from a 9 mm gun, and also 2 bullet shells from an 11 mm gun.

Police questioned nearby residents, who told police that one victim, Mr. Vithoon, had run unsuccessfully for a position on the Subdistrict Administration Organization Mabyangporn.

Mr. Vithoon’s present job was installing car stereos. They said he also liked to carry an11 mm pistol. The other victim, Mr. Wattana, was a fireman at Amata City industrial estate.

Witnesses said the two men had a quarrel with the owner of car-care company, and both sides took out guns and began shooting at each other. The gunfire had made a very loud noise all over the neighborhood.

One man was shot until he died at the scene, and another man died at the hospital. The car care owner then escaped after killing the two men.

After hearing the witness accounts, police followed up to arrest the suspect, but did not find him. The police also searched for the 11 mm gun that belonged to Mr. Vithoon, but could not find it.

Ok so there's basically two blokes with guns against one bloke...and the one bloke kills both, and escapes with their guns. Wrong or right, good or bad, someone's got pretty good shooting skills.
