Naew Na editor's car smashed

A car belonging to the editor of Naew Na daily newspaper was attacked and damaged by two men in Bang Khen district early Thursday morning.

Chalermchai Yodmalai, the Naew Na editor, reported the incident to Bang Khen police.

He said about 2am he heard his two dogs barking. He turned on the light and looked from the the second floor of his house in Soi Phahon Yothin 59 but did not see anyone.

However, the neighbours opposite his house said they saw one man pound his car with a concrete block while another man waited on a motorcycle with the engine running. The two men then fled.

The front windshield and the driver's side window were smashed.

Police suspected the attack was intended to deliver a threat as there were no valuables in the car.
