Everything is good except for bedbugs, hence the bites and lack of sleep. Disappointing that a mid range hotel have bed bugs like that..

Hate to be a dick, but I actually spoon fed the answer to guyinthailand on 19-6-12 by running the hotel though Agoda and learning about their bedbug problem. Wait a minute, I used to be a professional dick.

The deaths in the OP refer to the two Canadian sisters dying on Phi Phi, 16th June 2012.

The other quotes and claims refer to earlier poisoning deaths there in 2009, including that of Hillbilly's sister.
