    Non-immigrant type "0"

From the Thai consulate in my home country, I got a 1-year
non-immigrant visa type "0" on presentation of a bank statement,
even though I am under 50 years old, which I thought to be the age
limit for this type of visa.
Question: Will I have to leave Thailand after each consecutive 90 days,
by Cambodia border run for example, or is it sufficient to get a
stamp at the local Thai immigration office after 90 days?
    Thank you in advance!

50 is the minimum age for the retirement visa - I'm not quite there yet myself.
