    No, not at all.

Tax was a pussy who let a low ranking martinet kick his bony ass around and was sent on a fool’s errand to get the immigration equivalent of a can of tartan paint and a left handed screwdriver, the sad sap.

I was actually in the right since I was converting a non immigrant visa for the first time and there was no instruction on doing so within its last month’s currency as there is when one is extending an extension. I pointed this out to the captain and cited her own website.
She gave me the warning simply to save face.

Tax really was a jelly blob in kowtowing to the shiney arsed clerk. The error was made by the port officer and not one that was a breach of legislation, it was merely a departure from administrative practice. There was an office on the upper floor of Suan Plu where such errors made at the arrival port could be rectified. Tax’s weakness was that he should have simply dismissed the underling’s stupidity and referred the matter to a higher authority at Suan Plu.

I am not arrogant, I just know when I am right.

I was refused check in at Manchester on Lufthansa earlier this year as my return date was outside the 30 days.
Had to contact the travel agent to book a cheap flight out within the 30 days before they would let me check in.
