In Bangkok out at Chaengwattana it's;
14 days early
7 days late
That gives you a three week "window of opportunity" to get it done.
I think, if I remember right
In Khon Kaen it's 7 days early but never late.
On the Immigration website it says
"The notification must be made within 15 days before or after 7 days the period of 90 days expires"
Whether your local office uses the same rules is a mute point

In Chiang Rai today but will go to Chiang Mai Immigration Monday...7 days late and see what happends....I'll report back.
The rule is 14 before or 7 after.
Normally they allow 7 days before in Patts and a couple of days after but it is better not to go over the date as you can be eligible for a 200bht per day fine, max 5,000 bht
By the way guys I wish to say hello.
Well I have lost my tm card. So its off to the police station for a report. I guess then just take the police report when I go the next time. Silly.
I went Monday 7 days late all was ok....so 7 I think is the magic number "late"
wow you were lucky to find a government office open on a Thai National Holiday
Monday, August 12, 2013….Commemorates the birthday of Queen Sirikit in 1932; also observed as National Mother's Day
