need more than 30 days on arrival...

ok, I arrive in Chiang Mai, from the UK on the 2nd Jan, I get 30 days on arrival.

I`m planning on staying until 21st Feb 2012.

So,I need 20 days extra...If I do a visa run upto Burma, that will only get me an extra 15 days...Can I extend at immigration in CM for 7 days(1900baht)?
I dont mind flying international, to get another 30 days...any recomendations from CM, that`s roughly same cost/cheaper than a visa run to the border plus 1900 baht at immigration?

should have sorted something out in UK,before I go,but with work etc.......

You can fly to KL or Singapore direct from Chiang Mai with AirAsia. It's cheaper if you book in advance, but that may be too much like forward planning for you.

that sounds like the best or easiest if you cant send your passport to hull this week?? they used to turn them round via post office within 3 days so you may just do it depending on holiday dates back there??
please dont post anything on here and make this thread like thai visa.com, if its helpful its good, if it's not, it aint helpfull so dont waste either of our times.

Why does the Ministry of Foreign Affairs list it as 30 days if Thai Immi call it as 28 days ?

Don't think they'll give you an extension on the 15 day Mai Sai stamp. Just do it twice.
