I joined to have fun and share some info and opinions. It's not my fault that most forums are infected with a minority of members, many of whom are old hands, who spend their time on it stalking, bickering, and harassing, because they need fresh targets for their misery.

Avoiding the disturbed miserable crap, however hard they try to smother me, is the way to go.

I'm relatively new myself - and like-minded (agree with comments above wholeheartedly)...

TD is like your estranged Uncle Ted - grumpy and temperamental smells of stale piss, .. tolerable in small doses, but not to be taken too seriously..

Fun and laid back is the way to go. It's the miserable old hands taking things seriously with nothing better to do than spend an afternoon flinging accusations, and following and analysing all of my posts to try to start a battle about anything they can jump on which is where it all gets really sad. They should step away and return to the real world once in a while.

Did you not come on here and say you were new to Thailand. That you were living and volunteer teaching up in Isaan? None of that was true, so in reality you have no credibility.

The organisation I'm helping has given me fuck all to do yet so I'm posting on here a lot to pass the day. Might go exploring on my rented Honda Wave soon. Roads aren't much fun though. Too many near misses already.
