I think he was referring to an incident in Mahmodia, Iraq, where the American troops savagely raped a 14 years old girl and then killed her before tourching her body to hide the evidence.

I'm a non practicing Muslim and live my life according to my own rules. I don't much follow the Quran or Sunnah. I'm even against parts of Sharia law, four marriages etc but if I were the brother of that girl, I would do everything to harm the American forces and their families cos my sister, member of a family, has been brutually raped and burned by them.
I can't say that I would hurt their families. What have they done. They are innocent.I would however, hurt the people and armed forces that were responsible for this crime.
LC mate you have never been in such situation so it's almost impossible to say what your reaction would be. YOu can say that you wouldn't go after the families of those who savagely raped and killed your sister, God forbid, and then tourched her to cover evidence because you're in your full senses. Anyone who go through such times would never remain in their senses thus they strike back and wouldn't even think what's right and what's wrong.

My point, in this thread, is that one must address the issue of terrrorism at the grossroot level. Terrorists can not be eliminated with use of power. We need to discipline ourselves first in order to get rid of such elements.

Your last sentence says it all. "We need to discipline ourselves first in order to get rid of such elements."

The guilty should die and the innocent should live in peace. You said it and I agree.

I certainly hope that i wouldn't do that.It would certainly go against everything that I believe in.

^^ Yes we need to discipline ourselves with mutual understanding and respect for each other's right to exist and the power to make our own choices. Not by bombing whole cities.

Terrorism is like a chain reaction, you kill one ten more will be born.

Well I guess I agree with you too. "Yes we need to discipline ourselves with mutual understanding and respect for each other's right to exist and the power to make our own choices."

Key words ....respect for each other's right to exist .....

Right to exist and not be killed of all who do not accept Islam.

Right of Israel to exist in peace.

In Israel military service is mandatory for men and women, Israelis pay taxes to fund the distruction of the Palestinians and occupation of surrounding countries, the vast majority of Israelis support the systematic degredation of the Palestinain people. In essence Israel is a militarised society this means that all Israelis are legitimate targets. Hamas, the Al Aqsa Martyyrs Brigades, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, FATAH and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine are all valid resistance movements.
They champion falsehood, support the butcher against the victim, the oppressor against the innocent child. May God mete them the punishment they deserve

Well for those who dont accept Islam I have no problem and I abhore the ones who think that all who are non-believers must die. They are the ones who should be killed first.

And for Israeli part of your post I dont agree cos if a country wants to live in peace they wont have such a big army and so sophisticated weapons.

So you believe a Palestinain who blows himself up to kill Israelis is justified, even tho he kills say a half-dozen innocent Isralie children?

I agree with your first sentence 100 percent.

In the second sentence--maybe Israel has a large military as a deterent against attack.

thats horse shit MD, I was in the military at one point in my life so does that make me a legitimate military target?????

resistance movements???? what are they resisting??? Israel's right to exist???

Israel was provoked into it's latest round of attacks. It's real simple--- leave the Israelis alone and they won't get attacked--whats so hard to understand about that????

what's with the obsession with Israel on both side of the fence. I support Palestinian terrorism because I think it's perfectly justified, but why is it OK to support Israel blowing up children, while it's not OK for Palestinian to defend themselves ? why is it that all those Christian "believers" have this hardon for Israel ? why not the hardon for Palestinian ? is that a race issue ?

I read someone saying that "killing of innocents" ain't justified. I couldn't agree more but why's the American and Israeli military killing indiscriminately? Perhaps it's time for the people of those countries to have their voice heard by throwing these gov'ts out. IMO this is the first step to discipline. Also, the Muslim world need to be more diplomatic rather acting like idiots. They need to sort their own differences before pointing fingers at others. They also need to condemn those responsible for suicide bombings that's taking thousands of innocent lives on monthly basis.

Absolutely correct. Definitely target material. If AQ had any balls, they would target Israel on a constant basis.

Murder is never ok, but wars is nothing more than the legalization of murders. Something we, the western civilization, are very proud of.

At the end, it's all collateral damages. Israel killing children, Palestinian killing teenagers etc...

And who is winning in that battle ?

It's not ok for Palestinian or Isrlie to kill any innocents, men, women, or children. No terrorism is justified. Terrorism is a cowards way to fight.
