Five years Osama still missing.
Five years and no sign of the so called Al-Qaeda the so called terror network being crushed forever.
Does GWB even remember the reasons for starting a global war on terror??

I never said the people in the WTC deserved that.
My reference was to the actions of the Pentagon, and U.S. foreign policy around the world and in partular, in the Middle East.
Once case in point among many: the Pentagon killed 100,000 Cambodian civilain men, women, and children.
I don't see any tributes to them.
As for the Pentagon: f*ck them.
^Not to mention people are still dying/suffering in Vietnam and Laos due to Agent Orange, unexploded mines, etc.
i agree completely. the pentagon and the people that work there are legitimate targets.Quote:

it is of course regrettable that innocents will inevitably be caught up in the carnage, but since the US is dropping daisy-cutters and cluster bombs, they can't really cry foul.
Boon all those people are incidental. The target was the Towers not the workers inside. The hijackers weren't even thinking about them so there can't be any guilt assigned to the deaths of those people other than the guilt of the imperialist USA. If it hadn't been for the USA blah blah blah...

But I was doing my best ray impersonation. :( :p
Spot-on. Bush screwed it all up.Quote:
The nations of the world joined Monday in solemn remembrance of Sept. 11 — but for many, resentment of the United States flowed as readily as tears.
Critics say Americans have squandered the goodwill that prompted France's Le Monde newspaper to proclaim "We are all Americans" that somber day after the attacks, and that the Iraq war and other U.S. policies have made the world less safe in the five years since.
Quote:
"Right after Sept. 11 the world was united with Americans. Their moral leadership was unquestioned," Pawel Zalewski, head of the Polish parliament's foreign relations committee, wrote in the Gazeta Wyborcza. "However, this strong moral authority was abused as a result of the Iraq war."
Quote:
New Zealand's Prime Minister Helen Clark joined many when she said: "No, we're not more secure since 9/11."
Quote:
Israel's Haaretz daily expressed disappointment and cynicism in an op-ed piece that said: "This is Sept. 11 five years later: a political tool in the hands of the Bush administration."
Quote:
Afghan President Hamid Karzai, who won the country's first post-Taliban election, expressed the appreciation of the Afghan people to the U.S. for the "sacrifices of your sons and daughters" in rebuilding his country. But in the Afghan capital, many residents said they had not seen much improvement since the U.S.-led invasion that toppled the Taliban for harboring bin Laden.
Despite about 20,000 U.S. forces fighting al-Qaida and Taliban fighters in Afghanistan, and about the same number of NATO troops, and billions in aid, the Taliban resistance has shaken the country, while corruption has stymied development.
George W. Bush. The best tool for international terrorism the world has ever had.Quote:
"You gave us every legitimacy and every opportunity to continue fighting you," said Ayman al-Zawahri, addressing the United States.
World remembers 9-11 but many not crying - Yahoo! News
I remember the cover of one of the newspapers the day after GWB's inauguration, it said above a photo of the twat - 'IS THIS THE MOST DANGEROUS MAN IN THE WORLD?'.
It doesn irk me that it's the likes of Halliburton execs who are living a life of extraordinarily unnesscessary luxury and profit while the rest of the world suffers.
Nobody should be allowed to become a billionaire and those pulling Georges strings should have their throats cut.
it's interesting that boon mee chose to post those photos rather than enter the discussion.
however, it's been clear for some time that he prefers histrionics to facts.
and regarding that photo, here's something to consider boonie....
5 years later, and there isn't a memorial to those people who were forced to jump to their deaths, nor has construction begun.
a republican congress.
a republican president
a republican governor
a republican mayor.
and all the bereaved have is a hole in the ground.
Quit implying that you care ray.
attack the messenger all you want, but the facts remain.....
OBL is on the loose
afghanistan is out of control
there is still a hole in ground in manhattan....and no memorial.
care to comment on that?
didn't think so.
of course not. and why would the US bomb their own citizens?Quote:
