    Israel targetting unarmed UN observers

Well they managed to take 4 of them out yesterday in what appears to have been an exercise in deliberate targetting at worst and absolute couldn't give a shitness negligence at best.

UN spokesmen claimed to have called Israeli top dawgs and told them the shelling was getting a bit close, these calls became more frantic as the bombs got closer. They promised to stop, but didn't.
Israel are in denial, which makes a change.

    Fukking disgrace.

There is also one thing to remember. Even though there was shelling going on at the time, there is no conclusive proof that the explosions that killed the UN peacekeepers were Israeli. Hamas and Hezbollah have killed their own and blamed Israel. This could be a calculated PR move.

It is premature to blame Israel for this, except for those that blame the Jews or George Bush for EVERYTHING!

I don't think even the Israelis are denying responsibility SK.
It's a fact that they did it.

It's the degree of excuse that they are quibbling over.

If that's the case then I'm glad they leveled that post. The UN was probably sharing target info or spying for their dearly beloved islamic terrorists.

More like Israel doesn't want the outside world to see evidence of the war crimes being committed by the IDF.

    WANTED

    Position: Peacekeeper
    Location: Lebanon

Summary: This is an excellent position for anyone stupid enough to think that the U.N. will solve this problem.

    Requirements:
    - Thinking globally.
    - "Israel is always to blame" mentality.
    - Wearing blue helmets, so you stick out like a sore thumb (why not wear a red target on a T-shirt).
    - Mentality that terrorists are "misunderstood."
    - Belief that Israel somehow forced Hezbollah to kidnap the soldiers.
    - Mentality that violence never solves anything, unless that violence is committed by an Islamic terrorist.

Even the father of one of the captured soldiers is on record as saying that the reaction is way over the top.

That's one of your more stupid quotes - among many. I don't think I've ever been glad someone died. One or two I kinda shrug about, but being glad about someone's death is for sickoes.

Benbaa, that post is one of SK's more trollish posts and is a direct response to milkman's 2,000 down, 196,000 to go type posts.

    I hope.

He should be ashamed of himself. Only butterfluffy and milkdud write childish smack talk like that ... I've never read posters from the anti-war crowd like DD, CMN or others who talk that way about Troops from their countries fighting a war even if their opinion doesn't support the war.

The Lebanese have the option of leaving because the IDF warns them ahead of any attacks-- the barbarians!

Are you saying I've become predictable ?

Speaking of an offensive tone and back on topic ...

It is impossible to compromise with a group of people who believe that you should die just because you belong to the wrong religion.

While it is tragic that innocent people will die as a result of this war, innocent people have died because Israel has shown restraint? Resolutions, talks and pleadings have produced nothing!

How many more people must die before you come to the conclusion, "gee, maybe these terrorist groups don't want to coexist with Israel?"

Get your head out of the sand! Only an insane person would constantly believe that more talks and more resolutions will somehow cause these terrorist groups to see the error of their ways.

    I stand by my statements.

The American are supporting and killing for the Nuri Al-Maliki Shiite government in Iraq with is composted a coalition from Muqtada Al-Sadr to from the DAWA party.

The Americans are fighting and dying for a puppet government that wants to KILL them, and Israel.

SK, how can you support Israel AND also support the U.S. in Iraq, which support the Al-Maliki Shiite government which hates Israel?

I don't know whether or not what you're saying is true. I'll have to research the connection. I'd like to know in what form the Al-Maliki government has supported Hezbollah or al Quaida in an form whether it be monetary or weapons ? Sounds to me like you're speculating that the Al-Maliki government will also eventually want to do battle with Israel.

Please google it, or use a search engine for articles. There was another huge article today - I will look for it.

It's a FACT - Nuri Al-Maliki is a Shiite. He made anti-Israeli statements + Pro-Hezbollah statements. The DEMOCRATS used this to boycott his speech before Congress.

Nuri Al Mailiki and his coalition is composed of Muqtada Al-Sadr - FACT.

Sadr has seats in the Iraqi house.

You cannot support Israel and Al Makliki at the same time - it's the ultimate contradictions.

I'd like to know in what form the Al-Maliki government has supported Hezbollah or al Quaida in an form whether it be monetary or weapons ?
Right now, it's only soft public support. Why? becaue Al-Maliki is not secure yet. He can only speek support, but what will he do if he has to the ability to supply weapons? Aid? He hates Israel. He is Shiitte.

Sounds to me like you're speculating that the Al-Maliki government will also eventually want to do battle with Israel.
No. They will just supply aid, money, food, and arm to Hezbollah.

Check it out. I stand by what I say.

United Nations Secretary General Kofi Annan has accused Israel of deliberately targeting a UN observation post in an air raid which killed four UN observers on Tuesday night ahead of an international conference on the crisis in Rome on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Hezbollah has vowed to mount rocket attacks deeper into Israel.

Following a deadly attack on a United Nations outpost in Lebanon on Tuesday night, UN Secretary General Kofi Annan has demanded that Israel probe the "apparently deliberate targeting" of the peacekeeper's station in the village of Khiam. Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert said he had told Annan of his "deep sorrow" at the killing of the observers, but voiced shock at Annan's suggestion the attack was deliberate.
"The prime minister said he would never fathom the thought that the mistake that was made would be categorized by the UN as an action that was done intentionally," said a statement from Olmert's office. Olmert said he would order an investigation.

Kofi Annan is a totally out-of-touch impotent toss-pot.
    No credence there...
