No NATO countries are, they have all run down their Armoured Divs, mainly because air units/missiles make tanks a sitting target so it just depends on whether this goes aerial with NATO involved.

Think they are all NATO countries now. Doubt even Putin would push it that far.

That was my point. If the US is not ready, of course the other NATO countries aren't.

It seems to me the GOP nominee is now pretty much assured of victory in the next Presidential elections. Just hope it isn't Trump.

Putin's economy is now destined for impoverishment on a national scale. GDP growth has been whittled away since 2014 and now faces a return to pre-perestroika days. When the bodies pile up and the average Russkie, already earning a pitiful monthly salary of $600, sees his disposable income fall further the chickens will be roosting in no time.
    dont be naive.

china will ensure that russia gets all the economic help it needs, at a price of course. they will buy the wheat and gas and precious metals that the west wont and they will supply it with whatever it needs.

and instead of shouting about sanctions against oligarchs and their banks that will hardly have any effect on russia, the west should have been educating and recruiting super nerds perfecting ways of targeting their economy and infrastructure via cyberattacks instead of self flagellating themselves with diversity advisers, mental health consultants, workplace white privilege courses, lgbt awareness seminars, unconscious bias awareness days and all the other bullshit and the one sided global warming promises that liberal western governments seems to be obsessed with these days and serve only to weaken us in the eyes of others.

and all because one worthless american criminal was unlawfully killed by a cop.

Will you shut up and go away? You have already been cut off at the knee after your idiotic dribbling over the last six months has been proven to be utter idiocy. We do not need more of it.

Britain's spies told to check their 'white privilege' and stop saying 'manpower'

Leaked dossier called 'Mission Critical' asks spies to avoid words that 'reinforce dominant cultural patterns'

    24 February 2022 • 6:00am

The UK's spies are being urged to consider their "white privilege" as Europe braces for war.

The chiefs of MI5, MI6 and GCHQ have told staff to avoid using words such as "manpower", "strong" and "grip" because these can "reinforce dominant cultural patterns".

The guidance, from a leaked dossier titled "Mission Critical", was published internally on Dec 6 amid fears that Vladimir Putin would invade Ukraine.

The document has caused concern in some government quarters that security officials are more focused on diversity and inclusion than global security, according to the Daily Mail.

A source said: "There will be times where our security services have to kill the enemies who wish us ill.

"A culture where 'manpower' is offensive and where pronouns and 'privilege' are promulgated is far removed from the deadly decisions spooks often need to take."

The document's author, Sir Stephen Lovegrove, the national security adviser, writes: "This toolkit is called Mission Critical because a diverse and inclusive culture is critical to succeeding in our national security missions."

In a section on inclusive language, it says: "In national security, look out for words and phrases, such as 'strong' or 'grip', that reinforce the dominant cultural patterns. Avoid jargon, hierarchy or gender biases."

Another says: "Use gender-neutral language to reflect people's diversity and reduce stereotypes and assumptions, for example about job roles and functions which need not be gender-defined."

A Whitehall spokesman said the guidance would be included in core training. "They are fundamental to the national security of the UK," they added.

"That includes having people from different backgrounds, perspectives and ways of thinking."

I was right and you were wrong. You swallow propaganda and have been made to look like a fool. Pretty sad to see a former naval officer be utterly duped by brainless propaganda.

My recent post, in one of the 'Ukraine' threads, said the possibility of outright conflict had become considerably more likely- but said I didn't think Vlad would invade 'Ukraine proper'. I still don't, on balance- but waiting for the dust to settle.
Do you think your Ukrainian friends are going to be thanking you for your Diplomatic efforts on their behalf? Vlad called your bluff, and oh dear you had no deuces. All Hat, no Cattle. They will be thanking you for that in western Europe too, I daresay.

Really not sure how much longer we can afford you as an ally. Just too damn expensive. Anyway, enjoy the fireworks. And think about fighting those fires at Home.

You are a massive hypocrite. You bleated on for months about how this war would not happen, despite the constant intelligence from the US that war was immanent. You have been proven a fool and now you are shifting gears and trying to move the goal posts.

It could have been avoided, with a little common sense and Diplomatic empathy. Your belligerence was just braggadocio, and Putin has made you look like prize schmucks.

What a load of crap. When the fuck was Trump ever tough on Putin? Maybe he was careless that one time he was tonguing Putins ring too hard, that would be about it.
Although it's correct in a way.
Trump did all he could to facilitate Putins invasion. He demonised The Ukrain and idolised Putin and at Putins bidding did all he could to destabilase NATO and the Ukraine.
Even now he's saying what a genius Putin is for invading. It's beyond belief that Trump and his acolytes are siding with Putin, utterly beyond real.
    They really are traitors.
A brutal autocratic regime invades a peaceful democratic neighbour that poses no threat, and some weak sad Americans take the side of the autocratic regime.
They should be ashamed the fucking lot of them.
Trump is a weak, weak man. Think Chamberlain.
