The guy saying that is British and he's referring to British and gives zero fucks about the US. The point doesn't pertain to anywhere but European countries. That excludes the us and Canada , Australia et al.

I very wise old Talmudic scholar in Sydney told me that at any point in time there are two types of people regarding how to respect different between people based on race, religion, skin pigment.

There are those who believe there we are all related , wonderful variations of creation and to be judge on behaviour not origin.

Of course those who don't. I fear one of the downsides of the internet is to spread hate , ignorance and intolerance. This doesn't mean anyone has the right not to be offended or challenged in a just fashion especially if their behaviour is harmful to others .The cancel culture is open to abuse IMHO.
