Is Jesus a Christian?
Who gives a single fuck?

Is the rope a garrote trick
What do you mean ? The piece of shit it trotted out in the media like some super entrepreneur yet he's a complete fraud. You don't think it's news worthy that someone like this is actually a fraud ? The Lance Armstrong of business. The guy is a lying fraudulent piece of fucking shit.
Quite amusing, all that hate without any basis in reality. It is SpaceX who resumed flying crew to the ISS, 3 years ahead of Boeing, despite receiving a lot less money for the contract.
It is Tesla who moved electric cars forward, not traditional auto industry.
All those achievements, after he came to the US without any money. With taxes due for 2021 he will have paid $1.5 million for every day since he became US citizen.
"don't attribute to malice what can be adequately explained by incompetence"
Founded in July 2003 by Martin Eberhard and Marc Tarpenning as Tesla Motors, the company's name is a tribute to inventor and electrical engineer Nikola Tesla. In February 2004, via a US$6.5 million investment, X.com co-founder Elon Musk became the largest shareholder of the company and its chairman. He has served as CEO since 2008.
musk has quite the penchant for self promotion
The Worlds Greatest Showman, imo- but the worlds richest bloke too. It seems to me that his greatest feat has been raising vast amounts of venture capital for some pretty high falutin' ideas, and a very long lead time before any return on capital will be seen- indeed, if ever. Not only has be done so successfully, but his investors are actually sitting on great gains. Gotta say well done for that.
Tesla has been profitable for quite a while now. Which is reflected in the rise of tsla shares. Though it is really highly valued, but not nearly as overvalued as Rivian, which is rising on the tide of Tesla.
SpaceX at this time is inded not profitable. They are investing into 2 mega projects, Starship and Starlink. Starlink is expected to become profitable, in 2022/23. It can potentially produce net profits per year in the multiple billion $ range. That's why large commercial investors are fighting to put their money into SpaceX.
Plus of course the best and brightest young engineers want to get into SpaceX and Tesla.
Sure, Elon Musk has its less positive sides, which great mind does not?
Hard to watch the video and not agree with Backspin.
The difference between a salesman and a conman is that the former makes big promises and believes he can deliver, the conman makes the big claims knowing he will not deliver.
Musk is looking increasingly like the latter.

Maybe, but the point is, so what?

No, your point is so what. Many people take financial positions on the Elon Musk companies. Probably better if they weigh up all the information available rather than just Elon’s tweets.
Elon has been poking sticks at media and political pundits lately, and moved his HQ out of California. <cancel culture?
“I just happen to know” … very little, and understand even less.
Well done SoCal. What a bright and shining object you are …..
