I wonder if the people in charge of Thai Tourism actually understand why people go on holiday!!! Apart from guaranteed Sunshine, a great hotel with a Pool the thing people really want are great Bars and Restaurants
where they can relax over a drink and a meal!! I find it difficult to believe that nobody told the Bosses that the fact that everything was shut ( Patong Beach, I am informed by a Thai friend who went there a couple of Months
ago is like a " Ghost Town" ) was not conducive to having Happy Holidaymakers!! I read in the Bangkok Post one of the Top Tourism people saying that he was afraid that many tourists felt as if they had been cheated, rather a pity
that nobody came up with this before touting the Sandbox!!

I am desperate for a Holiday just before this latest iteration of Covid I was going to drive up to Chang Mai/ Chang Rai and spend a few Weeks staying in nice Hotels, however going there Today would make about as much sense
as flying to Disneyland when all the Rides are closed down!!

2 months in Phuket SandBox land is a long time. Everything's open that hasn't gone bust.

There is a ton of information on facetubegram about how Phuket is to visit.

Only a fucking idiot would go there without checking first.

Many people seem very happy with it as it is now.
