I read the headline and immediately thought Chinadaily. I was right. The Chinkies lashing out in response to the current criticism they're getting.
Question for hoho, do you participate in the Chinadaily forums?.

It's not about opinions, it's about facts. And it's repeating again and again, as long as people do allow that (if they are not sheepish)...
Same as what's written in:
https://teakdoor.com/arts-and-entert...ml#post4245164 (What book are you reading right now?)
You can add many (all ?)other countries, including my own, to that list.
And then they complain about Russia allegedly having fun with their own farcical elections.
They are mad
I see you have fun.
Proud of what your taxdollar and name is being used for ?
I guess not
No. I find The https://www.fmprc.gov.cn/mfa_eng/ is more informative.
There is, to my knowledge, no thread regarding ameristani human rights abuses. The article was informative to me. I wasn't aware of many of them, were you?
As the country being discussed is not in either the Asian or European continents, there is no alternate than World News.
'"orum: World News
The forum for posting news events from all over the world, ie America, Australia, Africa, Europe and any where else that isn't in Asia.
Robust discussion is allowed, but posters should stay on topic and refrain from personal attacks."
Whether the article's topic, "Human Rights Abuse" is discussed here, I suggest there are many in the TD forum threads as well as the international media.
Would you agree? Or should we be "sensitive" about which countries "Human Rights Abuse" we discuss.
So as not to awaken the forgotten history of our ancestors?
A tray full of GOLD is not worth a moment in time.
Thank you "TD mod", for the clarification/TD ruling.
What about an update on a news item that has changed somewhat, Thai and Asia, World news or speakers corner?
What time lag, hours, days, weeks, months years, decades .... I wouldn't want to become a serial offender.
Although the thread appears to be aimed at a poster's "opinion", rather than new factual information from a news source.
Forum: Speakers Corner
Air your opinion on current world affairs
A "mod" left the post in world news for some days. But hey ho, you "mods" do what you do.

So he played the cithara, not the fiddle, but there's no proof that he didn't play the cithara while Rome burned for six days.
Anyway, who would not appreciate the generous help worldwide knowing that they have their 43.5 million on verge of poverty, and counting.
And that beside the impacts of pandemic and the situation of the infrastructure... (although that's due to the incompetence of the former guy...)
In percentage it's about the same both places.
I don't know how they do these numbers, cause it's less in Thailand.
Denmark 0,2 %. NZ does not look good if they use this:
households with less than 50 percent of the median equivalised disposable household income after deducting housing costs and compared to the median income from the baseline year
Well, you can read statistics like the devil reads the bible
As I mentioned, NZ is an expensive place . . . and there is this very Anglo madness of house ownership at all costs . . . rates rise = people suffer.
Labour government is elected and the number of people waiting for government housing increases five-fold . . . social payments go through the roof etc...
I used to be quite left of centre, politically, but here it's just a matter of throwing money at everyone who wants it - and further enslaving the Maori and Pasifika population in the debt/handouts spiral.
I digress . . .
I don't see it that way at all, but understand why it may come across like that.
I like NZ a lot - still - the first home-battle and race to buy as many investment homes is madness.
I love Australia - as above
I like the US where I lived/worked/studied - as above
I like parts of the UK where I worked (Royal Tunbridge Wells) - as above
Just a different mentality is all I'm saying and it does lead to hardship in many cases. In NZ the government doesn't even include house price increases in inflation calculation (not sure if that's normal elesewhere either, to be honest)
The government doesn't really try to stem the increases too much as every house sale brings in lots of Pacific Pesos into the government coffers.
I digress . . . sorry if I came across as being anti-Anglo
Interest is extremely low, which will send the prices up.
When the interest goes up, prices will take a dive and a lot up people will be insolvent. Can't afford to get a divorce if needed.
Etc
Stuck
Same here
We have a....labour government too. Social payment are high at the moment, but it for the Free Interprise Sector.
They have suddenly gone all "socialistic"and need help.
No, you didn't
I still remember your anti-union rants.
But I reckon you are a kind man with a good heart.
(I might edit the last line later )
Policy Basics: The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)
SNAP, formerly known as the Food Stamp Program, is the nation’s most important anti-hunger program. In a typical month in 2018, SNAP helped 40 million low-income Americans afford a nutritionally adequate diet.

I was, I was . . . a Greenie even!!!
And my anti-union rants were based on my having worked at the BWIU (Builders Workers Industrial union) in Sydney during my ComLaw studies, majoring in Industrial relations and seeing how they abuse the system and workers.
As fo public sector unions - pshaw . . . damn, now you've got me going.
Always was, always will be. Thank you. (I just don't like chavs )
