Whose God is More Vicious? Quiz
I only scored 4 right answers...
I have'nt looked at the link but are'nt they both the same God, just different messingers
Edit, just looked, 9/10
Interesting answers. I didn't take the quiz because it's biased in a sort of strange way. "Equally vicious" is very subjective, and comparing them at levels of "visciousness," is not possible, I think.
Both religions are bad, IMO.
Both gods are fabricated, and made up by men, IMO.
People who follow both religions are ignorant fools, IMO.
............
There is a dispute as to whether Jesus was actually God, but both the Gods in question are one & the same thing. Without taking the quiz I can tell you it is the Christian version of God who is the worst. I'm pretty clued-up on all this as I saw a documentary about it.
I scored six.
The argument against this is that the New testament superceds the old one - apparently he changed his mind.Originally Posted by Clockwork Orange

There is only one God. Before the birth of the Lord Jesus the Jews followed God. Then came The Lord Jesus who was God in the flesh. Gospel of John, Chapter one, Holy Bible. The Jews refused to believe and accept Jesus and had him killed. The Christians are the one who followed The Lord Jesus which is to say the same as saying, The Christians are the ones who continued to follow the one and only true God, The Lord Jesus Christ. Some years later the Muslims started following the same God.
From the beginning there has only been one God and today there is only one God.
There may be only one God but he comes in a variety of flavours.

Agreed, the sinners on this forum should re-read John 1, no doubt the beauty of the words will soften their black and evil hearts and draw them back from the the precipice of fire and into the loving embrace of the Lord;

Not correct. Muslims may worship the same God that Christians worship, but God did not write the koran. That would be a contridiction because the Holy Bible is the insired Word of God. The Holy Bible is very much different than the koran.
Isllam is a good example of why we have so many different religions today. Everyone wants to change Gods Word and make a new religion that they can live by instead of obeying God and following his Holy Word.
No I do not follow the quran. I have read some, but not all of the quran. I read and follow the Holy Bible.
^ Not again please.
But Musims (in general) believe that the Xtian Bible has been altered by humans too many times. There have been deletions and editing. Therefore the Prophet Mohamed (may peace be on him) wrote the Quran, which was the direct word of god.
But it's the same god.Isllam is a good example of why we have so many different religions today. Everyone wants to change Gods Word and make a new religion that they can live by instead of obeying God and following his Holy Word.
No I do not follow the quran. I have read some, but not all of the quran. I read and follow the Holy Bible.
The Holy Bible was written, edited, and altered, and mis-translated by humans many times.
It is not credible.
What Muslims believe or do not believe means nothing to me.
I follow the Holy Bible. Just because we all follow the same God does not mean we will all go to heaven. God has very clearly outlined his plan of salvation. Those who do not follow it will face eternal damnation.
I believe God gave us the Holy Bible by inspiration, so, as it was edited, altered and mis-translated by humans many times as you say, I say, God still had his hand over the situation and the Holy Bible is correct in spite of the above.
9 correct. I particularly enjoyed being called an "unsaved moron" on the one I got wrong.
^ You serious, ceburat? Oh, never mind. This is one debate I don't want to get into. You believe (but spend your life shitting on others) you're saved; you don't believe (but treat others well) you're damned. What a crock. Aaaah, whatever.
Art Robertson. How is not believeing another religion being a hypocrite?
Thanks for the Red. I needed that
Interesting website, I got 6! Some of the questions were a bit subjective, though.
Followed up on one of the flashing Psalms, which I was unaware of:
Psalms 137:9
"Blessed is the one who grabs your little children and smashes them against a rock."
Editorial
July/August, 1986
Volume 21, Number 4
Some will likely find the title of this WITNESS article to be a bit shocking. At first glance, it sort of shocks me too! I have never used Psalm 137:9 as a text for a sermon and probably never will. There are many easier texts for me to work on first. Today, with the frequency of terrorist acts in our world, and with many reports of child abuse -- and with many people trying to evaluate such conduct -- this title is not quite as alarming as it otherwise at first glance might seem to be.
The primary issue here is, "What does one do with the statements in the Bible that seem to be out of character with the overall message of Scripture!" Some would rush to the conclusion that statements about "dashing children against rocks" are adequate proof that not all of the Bible is reliable. It usually is not wise to rush too fast to any conclusion, and especially if that conclusion would cast a shadow of doubt on the infallibility of God's Word.
Dashing Infants Against Rocks
Apologies. I have a tendency to use the word "you" when I don't necessarily mean the person I'm talking to, but "people in general". This is one of these times. Please substitute "one" or "a person" for each of the times I've said "you", except for the very first sentence, when I address you by name.
Basically I mean:
I think any belief/religion that assumes a person can treat others like shit, but believe and therefore go to heaven or conversely treat others well but not believe, so be doomed to hellfire (ie belief is more important than behaviour) is a crock.
Here's the latest video by Pat Condell. He's always good for a chuckle, as he takes the piss on every religion.
In this latest one he comes down on the Saudis and on the PC weak Europeans, including Brits.
He is bang on the money.
